Carperby is a delightful village boasting spectacular views of Penn hill as well as a local inn where James Herriot stayed for his honeymoon. Castle Bolton is less than 2 miles away, which is where Mary Queen of Scots once stayed, and Aysgarth Fall is a short walk from your door. Carperby is also home to the Wensleydale Sheep!
Leyburn 6 miles, Hawes 8 miles. Shop 2 miles, local Inn serving food 200 yards.
